Axion Haus LLC is a partner of the ENERGY STAR® Residential New Construction program by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
We build to ENERGY STAR v3.2 with independent verification by a Home Energy Rater (HERS).

How we verify ENERGY STAR® compliance
- Design / plan review phase
Our HERS Rater reviews the architectural plans, insulation specs, construction details, and energy models in advance.
- On-site inspections
At key stages (shell closed, pre-drywall, final) we conduct blower door tests, duct leakage measurements, and airflow balancing tests.
- Final verification & report
After construction, the rater conducts final tests, compares results to ENERGY STAR standards, and issues a verification report. If passed, the home gets the ENERGY STAR label.
- Homeowner documentation
Owners receive the ENERGY STAR label, certificate, and test report documentation.
